Hidden Frame Glass Curtain Wall Profile Installation is to bond the glass to the aluminum frame with silicone structural sealant (referred to as structural sealant). In most cases, no metal connectors are added. Therefore, the aluminum frame is completely hidden behind the glass, forming a large area of full glass mirror. In some projects, the vertical glass curtain wall adopts a hidden frame curtain wall with metal connectors. Metal fasteners can be used as a safety measure, but it is easy to cause the glass to break due to concentrated stress. The glass and the aluminum frame are completely bonded by structural adhesive. Structural adhesive must bear the dead weight of the glass, the wind load and earthquake effect borne by the glass, and the influence of temperature changes. Therefore, structural adhesive is the key link in the safety of hidden frame curtain wall. Structural adhesive must be able to effectively bond all materials in contact with it (glass, aluminum, weather-resistant adhesive, gasket, etc.), which is called compatibility.
